Naptime Production!

I love when people share new places to shop with me, especially when the shops are theirs!!  There is nothing I love more than buying things from friends, and sharing these great things with all of you.

Recently my friend Beverly shared her new shop Naptime Production with me.  Cute name huh??!! The shop is run by two moms, that create these adorable items during "nap time".  With 14 nap times a week (if they are lucky), between their two homes, there is always something new!!  They have inspired me to be more productive during our own nap time;)

The stuff at their store is so cute!!  As you all know I am a sucker for personalized items, and they really hit a home run with theirs.  There are so many cute items to choose from!

Here are some of my favorites...

Personalized Canvas

Football Blanket (obviously this would be even cuter with Packers fabric;) )

Tie and Suspender Onesie

Rudolph Thermal

Sailboats and Red Polka Dot Flannel Blanket

Breast Cancer Ribbon Tie T-shirt

Personalized Mickey and Minnie Shirts

Looking Back at Year1...Day 3

We have featured so many cute things on Little Orso, that is has been hard to figure out which items to re-share with you.

Here are two of my favorites...

We featured Buds N Branches in one of our first posts, because they were one of the first Etsy stores to jump out at me for kids clothes.

The store is run by Sabrina, a stay at home mom, who realized that there was a need for unique, cute, classic, & reversible clothing for boys and girls.

We agree:)  And she does them so well!!  Just picture these outfits in your holiday pictures, or for your holiday card.  She offers so many different fabrics, looks, personalization, etc.. you really can find something for every event.  Click here to read our original post on them, and learn more about Buds N Branches.

Stay tuned to Little Orso today, because we have some surprises from Buds N Branches coming up:)

Another item that got readers talking, and that I personally have and love is the dishwasher sign featured  back in July.

As I shared in the original post about them (seen here), my husband and I were having an issue with unloading dirty dishes.  This sign has literally changed our lives.  No more emptying dirty dishes!!

The Etsy store is called Dishwasher Sign, but they also make signs for pets, Nursery's, Bathrooms etc...

I definitely will be purchasing some more for our home, and these make a great housewarming gift as well.

If you are thinking about buying one, you are in luck:)  We have some special surprises from them coming up later today:)

Little Sprouts

Anyone with kids knows how fast they grow out of everything!!  I swear they grow out of the expensive stuff even faster;)

That is why my friend Megan's company Little Sprouts is such a fabulous idea!!  Little Sprouts is an online site, where you can buy gently used kids items.

Megan started Little Sprouts this year after a company layoff.  While out searching for cute items for her own son, she realized that others may be looking for nice yet affordable kids clothes too.  She decided that she would start searching for anything great, and then sell her finds.  Everything on her site is "gently used", and is in great condition.  Megan personally inspects each item for stains or rips. If there is a defect, it is clearly mentioned in the description. She has a great eye too, because everything is adorable!!

All of the items are separated by size and gender, and compiled in to separate "photo albums.  This makes searching her site very easy!!

If interested in an item the buyer just has to comment "interested" and leave their email address on the photo of the item.

Right now you have two choices for delivery.  You can buy the items online through Paypal, and have them shipped to you.  Or if you live in the Kirkwood Pennsylvania area (where Little Sprouts is located), your items can be hand delivered.

The business is 100% online right now, but Megan is in the process of expanding to a store front in the near future.

I love sharing great ideas, especially ones that make other parents lives easier.  It is a triple bonus when I can share a small business that one of my friends started.  Megan is a great woman, and her Little Sprouts is a fantastic company!!  Check it out today, her stuff does not last long!!!

"And You Were Just Too Busy Being Fabulous..."

When you have a baby boy, it is hard to find things that are fabulous.  There are a million cute accessories and clothes for baby girls, but trying to find the same for a baby boy is hard. There are cute clothes, but not too many accessories or anything "too over the top".  Sometimes you just want something a little over the top, or some cute accessories (especially for pictures).

Even though my son is now wearing toddler sizes, I still love to search for cute baby boy stuff.  I recently stumbled on a site that I wish I had found 2 years ago.  They have a bunch of great newborn stuff, and cute "take home outfit" options.  The name of the site is Born Fabulous, and the site is just that fabulous!!

How cute would this be for your birth announcement??

They carry really cute girls clothes and accessories, but for once a store carries similar items for baby boys.  I always loved the baby leg warmers, but could never find any that were very masculine. They also carry velcro ties, cute hats, and the little socks that look like shoes.

I think Daddy would even approve of these

Besides cute every day clothes and accessories, they also have a great selection of Halloween costumes and personalized gifts (we all know how much I love personalized gifts).

Great for Halloween or a friend that is a doctor

You can do most of your back to school shopping here too.  They have personalized lunch boxes, folders, notebooks, shirts...

However as someone that refers to our dog as my son's "brother", my favorite item of theirs is the personalized "I love my dog" shirts.  You can chose between blue stripes or pink dots, and have your dog's name written on it.  For kids that love dogs but do not have one, you can get "I Love Dogs".

Besides having a great selection of items, their prices are very reasonable.  They even offer a generous rewards program.  It is free to join. You can get cash back on every order, and points to spend on future orders.  The best thing that they offer is $10 off of your first order, and you can get it right away.  Just sign up to receive their newsletter and within minutes you will get an email for $10 off of your order :)

I am off to order an "I Love Jack" shirt, and figure out cute ways to take "brother shots" when it arrives:)

Little Orso Bookshelf- Cozy Day at Home Edition

Today's Little Orso Bookshelf post, is kind of a hybrid.  I am also featuring some really cozy pajamas:)

My favorite thing to do with my son, is snuggle up and read. (when he will sit still).  Luckily he loves books, and I can usually entice him to sit and read with me.  Recently he received a fabulous gift, a "books to bed gift set" from Chasing Fireflies.

I am not really sure which thing we are more excited about, the book or the pajamas.  Let's start with the book, How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night, it is an adorable book about little dinosaurs and what they do before bed.  It has become a bedtime favorite in our house.  The illustrations are so cute, which makes the pajamas a hit...they are covered in images from the book.  They are also extremely soft!!

These are not only one of my new favorite gifts, but we plan to buy every set ourselves.  There is nothing better than a gift that encourages reading.  They also have sets for Guess How Much I love You

...and Goodnight Moon.

Three fantastic books for all ages!!

The pajamas run from 12 months to size 7.  I wish they came in Adult sizes too:)

This would make a great back to school gift.  Have them wear them the night before the first day, and you are guaranteed a great morning picture:)...and hopefully a child that is excited to go to school and read!!

As I mentioned last week, I plan on starting a new tradition of taking Tuesdays off of the computer.  I am calling them Tech Free Tuesdays, and plan on doing crafts, adventures, movies, reading....  Last week we had a great day of organizing, and then a dino hunt in our neighborhood.  I recommend you all give it a try, it is so freeing and relaxing!!  Even if you have to work or go to school, take the day off of gossip and social media.  Yes, it is fun to read, but so exhausting!!

Today we are going to read, and wear our fabulous dino pajamas.  Maybe with all of my free time, I can figure out how to sew a pair of pajamas for Mommy and Daddy Orso (and the dog) :)
